Accurate Solutions Group, LLC’s mission is to help our clients retire with confidence, clarity and independence. We believe that respect, honesty, accuracy and integrity are essential in developing long-lasting relationships with the families we serve. Our primary focus is retirement income planning, investments and tax planning.

Stephen W. Gierl, CFP®Managing Partner

Steve is a managing partner of Accurate Solutions Group, LLC. and an Investment Advisor Representative of Accurate Investment Solutions, Inc. an SEC registered investment advisor. Upon graduation from West Virginia University, Steve entered the financial services industry and has been serving individual, corporate and municipal clients for more than 35 years. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association. Steve is a 5-time winner of the Pittsburgh Magazine ‘Five Star Wealth Manager’1 accolade and has served as an officer of the Fox Chapel Rotary, the Sarver Chapter of Business Network International and as a member of the Butler County Industrial Development Authority. Steve has been a frequent guest speaker and has taught numerous financial planning courses.

He enjoys golf, tennis, fishing and all outdoors activities and is a die-hard Pittsburgh and WVU sports fan.  Steve lives in Butler, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Susie. Steve and Susie have four children, one grandchild and a faithful dog, Odd. As Steve says: “What could be better than working in a business with your wife, and now kids, serving the financial planning needs of friends that became clients and clients that became friends!”

 

Gary Earl Augustine | Managing Partner

Gary graduated from Penn State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He worked six years in the United States and in Africa as an accountant for both Gulf Oil Corporation and Cities Service Corporation.  After returning to the United States, he was National Sales Representative for Servistar Corporation’s computerized Accounting and Inventory Control Systems and entered the financial services industry in August 1989.

Gary holds his Life and Health insurance licenses in numerous states, and was Awarded Five-Star Wealth Manager 1 by Pittsburgh Magazine every year since 2013.

Gary spends his leisure time playing golf, traveling, wine tasting and taking in Broadway shows (his favorite show being the musical Brigadoon). Gary is also an avid traveler-- he has been to all 50 states and 5 continents.  According to him, however, no place beats the beaches of Aruba.

Tim Augustine, CFP®Managing Partner

Tim graduated from Penn State University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and worked in the engineering field for 12 years prior to entering the financial services industry in 1995. Tim is very passionate about solving problems and draws upon his diverse background in his many roles with Accurate Solutions Group, including Chief Compliance Officer of Accurate Investment Solutions, Inc.  He is also involved in all the firm’s financial planning and portfolio management activities.

Tim holds his Life and Health insurance licenses.

Tim lives in Gibsonia, PA with his wife Lisa, their two children, Morgan and Ryan, and their two Labrador retrievers, Rain and Rex.  Tim is very active with his son’s boy scout troop.

Ryan Warheit | Partner

Ryan is a partner of Accurate Solutions Group, LLC. and an Investment Advisor Representative of Accurate Investment Solutions, Inc. an SEC registered investment advisor. Upon graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, Ryan moved to New York City to work for a respected hedge fund as an equity trader from 2006- 2011.  Since returning to Pittsburgh, he has been advising ASG’s individual and corporate clients, as well as handling the portfolio management activities for the firm.  He currently serves on the board of directors for the Butler County Industrial Development Authority and the Butler County Development Corporation.

He enjoys golfing, yard work and is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.  Ryan met his wife, Ashley, during a “Semester at Sea” in college. They welcomed their daughter, Hadley, in 2016. Ryan and his family currently reside in Butler, Pennsylvania with their dog, Stella.

Dave J. King, LUTCF® Financial Advisor

Dave brings extensive experience as an insurance consultant to his position. He graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts in theology and a minor in psychology. He entered the financial services industry with Mutual of New York in 1981, became a registered securities representative with Thomson McKinnon Securities International in 1986 and joined Roney and Company in 1988. In 1991, Dave moved to Pittsburgh to work for Prudential Insurance Co. as an independent insurance consultant. In 2000, he joined Allstate Financial Services Inc., where he qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table2 from 2000 to 2006 before joining our firm in January 2007.

Dave and Rebecca live in Butler, Pennsylvania, with their four children: Lydia, 16; Liam, 14; Lachlan, 12; and Lleyton, 11. They also have a mini schnauzer named Lakota.

Kelli L. McAninch | Operations/Client Relations Manager

Talk to Kelli if you need something done immediately. She is thorough and precise in following through with all client issues. Since joining our firm in 1998, Kelli has taken on many responsibilities, including processing all paperwork for new accounts, tracking the flow of critical documents and implementing the follow-through with client instructions to serve their individual needs. Kelli graduated from Freeport High School in 1988 and attended West Virginia University and the University of Pittsburgh.

Outside of the office, Kelli is a licensed Zumba instructor and teaches classes weekly. She also serves as an elder at her church and spends time supporting the many sports and school activities of her daughter, Madyson. When time allows, Kelli enjoys reading, visiting family and vacationing in the Outer Banks or Disney World. Kelli and Madyson reside in Sarver, Pennsylvania.

Kim Belfield | Director of First Impressions

Expect a warm welcome when you enter our office! Kim is on our front line of customer service, whether greeting you in person or responding to your phone call. If you need to schedule an appointment, check an account balance or update personal information, Kim is ready to assist you. She graduated from Bethel Park High School in 1979 and attended Bradford Business School in Pittsburgh. Upon graduation from secretarial training, she worked at Rockwell International in financial planning and analysis for 10 years. Kim has been with the company since February 2008.

Kim’s hobbies include counted cross-stitch projects, reading and spending time with her family, especially when on vacation. Kim lives in Leechburg, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Ben; young adults Chris, Brad and Chad; and their Maltese, Hannah, and cat, Snowball.

Susie Gierl | Technology Director 

Susie is our information technology specialist and spends the majority of her time gathering financial information from multiple sources to prepare financial planning, portfolio analysis and cost basis reports for client reviews. In our business, data is everything, and Susie is simply the best at reconciling the volumes of custodial statements, retirement plan statements and money manager reports with our in-house portfolio management systems and variety of financial planning programs. Susie worked in the technology field with Consolidated Natural Gas Corp. and Westinghouse Electro Mechanical division before joining our firm in 1991. Susie graduated from Bethany College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and economics.

Outside of the office, Susie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, the outdoors, and her weekly Bible study. Susie, husband Steve, and their youngest child, Molly, live in Butler, Pennsylvania, with their dog, Odd Thomas.

Cassidy Schmidt | Compliance Assistant

Cassidy spends her days assisting Tim with compliance and preparing reports for client meetings. She also assists clients with accessing their personal online portfolios and writes content for online media. If you follow us on Facebook or Twitter, you have probably seen her posts!

Cassidy graduated from Knoch High School in 2012 and from Clarion University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and philosophy. She has worked at our firm since graduating. Cassidy lives in Saxonburg with her husband, Pete.
